This is our first time purchasing coffee from Ture Waji, the owner and founder of Sookoo Coffee, who purchases cherries from around 30 smallholder farmers in the sub-kebele of Bookisa.
Ture Waji, known as 'The King of Guji' due to his incredible knowledge of coffee growing in the region, Ture ensures that the coffee is meticulously processed to produce a stunningly clean cup.
Thanks to improved sourcing transparency and coffee variety identification in Ethiopia, we know this lot is made up of Gibirinna 74110 and Serto 74112 varieties. This level of transparency is part of the reason we chose this coffee, along with its stunning flavour profile.
The meticulous level of detail in the harvesting and processing results in an incredibly elegant and delicious coffee.
