This coffee’s journey is deeply rooted in resilience. Guillermo Montenegro Ayestas nearly lost his family farm when it was impounded by the bank and put up for auction. While low offers rolled in, none were accepted, giving Guillermo the chance to regain control.
Since reclaiming the land, Guillermo and his family have poured their hearts into producing exceptional coffee. Over the past eight years, their hard work has paid off, with their coffee earning a spot in the national Cup of Excellence nearly every year since 2011, including 7th place in 2017.
On this farm, every family member plays a part, working together to overcome challenges and create coffees that reflect their journey and dedication.
