It's a special time here at Marvell Street, when we get to release our first Kenyan of the year, and this Luka AA from Nakuru County in Kenya's Rift Valley does not disappoint. Grown in rich volcanic soils at altitudes as high as 2,200m above sea level, this coffee is complex, fruity and juicy. All harvesting is done by hand when the berries are fully ripe, they are then carefully sorted to remove any unripe or spoiled cherries, they are then mechanically pulped that same day. This rigorous approach to quality control ensures that only high quality, ripe cherries are left, the result being an amazing coffee.
We hope you enjoy this stunning AA from Kenya, a place we consider one of the world's most magical growing regions.
