In the village of Arsosala lies a coffee growers Co-Op and washing station that has served just over 1,000 local coffee growers from the surrounding Uraga district since 2015. Ethiopian coffees are commonly categorised by the distinct flavour characteristics of their growing regions, this coffee being from the "Guji" zone. Guji was named by the Oromo people, one of the largest ethnic sub groups in Africa. The Guji zone has a rich history in coffee production and the coffees from this region are famous for being juicy, vibrant and big on sweetness scale.
We hope you are just as excited as us to be once again drinking amazing Ethiopian coffee.
