Francisco Ponce Duarte can largely thank his older brother for his passion for coffee, after fleeing the civil war in the 80s, Francisco came back to Nicaragua to find his brother had invested in 2 hectares of Caturra trees.
Francisco and his brother bought more land with each passing season, slowly growing the family coffee business. During this period of expansion they learnt much about improving the quality of their coffee, and are now growing true specialty grade coffee, allowing them to sell for higher prices and invest in their business and community.
This coffee is the result of two close brothers reuniting to produce something wonderful, we hope you enjoy it.
