Franco Garzón was born into coffee, the son of hard working coffee growers he spent his formative years learning the trade before taking the plunge and going out on his own over 30 years ago. With a focus on quality and environmental care, Franco has made a name for himself as a pioneer in the Colombian coffee scene, often being the first in his region to experiment with new varieties, processing methods and environmental conservation techniques. He says trial and error has been his guide to improving his farm and the coffee it produces.
Today Franco runs Finca Altamira with his wife and two sons, a true family business growing incredible coffee, we hope you enjoy.
