Juana Lopez's earliest memories of coffee involved delivering tortillas to the workers on the coffee plantations that surrounded her childhood village. She fondly recalls observing the labourers harvesting coffee cherries, often daydreaming about one day owning her coffee farm. Her parents imparted the knowledge of coffee cultivation, leading them to establish the 'La Sombra' farm, emphasising organic coffee production. Juana attributes the exceptional flavour of her organic coffee to the plentiful native trees providing shade for her coffee plants.
