Luis Edier Reinoso's main harvest Gesha this year has been a joy to roast and even more of a pleasure to drink, and his fly crop or 'Mitica' harvest is equally stunning.
Because of Colombia's proximity to the equator, and its mountainous topography which creates unique microclimates, farmers are able to harvest coffee twice a year, with the main harvest between October and March and the 'mitica' or 'fly' harvest between April to August. This Gesha was picked during the mitica harvest, so it is amazingly fresh.
