Finca El Cedro is perched high in Peru’s Cajamarca region, in the Huabal district—a place known for its soaring altitudes, cool mountain air, and perfect coffee-growing conditions. Here, at around 1,850 metres above sea level, Oswaldo González tends to his small farm with a sharp eye for quality and a whole lot of care.
Oswaldo grows Caturra and Bourbon, two varieties prized for their clarity and sweetness in the cup. During harvest, the ripest cherries are handpicked with precision, thanks to the careful standards Oswaldo sets with his pickers. The result? A super clean, vibrant coffee that really shows off what this region can do.
Beyond flavour, Oswaldo’s commitment to sustainable farming and his dedication to craft have made Finca El Cedro one of Huabal’s standout farms—and earned him deep respect in his community. Quietly leading by example, he’s helping put northern Peru on the specialty map.
