Sacarias Chavez represents the third generation of coffee growers in his family, with a legacy that began with his grandparents. For over 60 years, he has been producing coffee with a passion that he is now passing on to the fourth generation. Despite being 78 years old, Sacarias remains involved in the farm, overseeing all the processes done by his son and the workers. What sets Sacarias' farm apart is his unwavering commitment to improving the quality of his coffee. His goal is to win in the prestigious Cup of Excellence competition, for which he plans to continue investing in the short term to improve the post-harvest infrastructure and drying station.
