Teodoro Ruiz has been passionately producing coffee for 15 years. His continued dedication to producing outstanding coffee has recently been rewarded in a variety of ways. This particular coffee was a strong performer in the Aromas competition hosted by Caravela in Mexico. Further, Teodoro was invited to train with the Regional Organisation of Specialty Coffee in the Mazatec Region & has now become a trainer for them. For the past two years Teodoro has been helping other farmers in the region implement better practices to improve their coffee quality, bringing life back to the industry which once flourished in Mazatec. This beautiful & mostly mountainous region presents biological diversity, strong cultural traditions & a love for life.
