TASTES LIKE - CHERRY, NOUGAT, DARK CHOCOLATE

Big Block favours the bold! Designed to have punch and body, it cuts through dairy and alternative milk whilst still staying true to the Marvell Street ethos for clarity and quality. Big Block is a seasonal blend of coffees with low acidity, roasted a touch more for extra body and depth, it's rich, with notes of dark chocolate, nougat and a delicate cherry fruitiness.

Like all coffees we roast at Marvell Street, we chose the coffees in Big Block because they are free of defects and are sweet, clean and superbly processed. We only use coffees in season, because of this the components change throughout the year, but we make sure the flavour profile remains consistent.

ESPRESSO RECIPE
USE A RATIO OF AROUND 1:2 (coffee to water) and aim for a shot time of 28-31 seconds.

FOR EXAMPLE
Dose 22g of coffee and aim for a total of 42-44g of espresso in 28 seconds.
This is a good starting point however your equipment may be different, so feel free to experiment or get in touch if you need a hand.
