Fresh Ethiopian coffee is the favourite time of year for many coffee roasters, brewers and drinkers. The coffees from what is the motherland of coffee are sweet, floral and delicate like no other place in the world.
In recent times we've seen a big step forward for the traceability of coffee produced in Ethiopia. The government recently reviewed the trade laws to allow farmers to sell directly to roasters and international buyers and bypass the Ethiopian coffee exchange. While this may take some time gain momentum we should start seeing some very interesting single producer lots from Ethiopia.
