Datanlí is part of a natural reserve just outside the city of Jinotega. It is surrounded the central mountain range of Nicaragua called, Cordillera Isabelia. This area is famous for it's thriving ecosystems, tall mountains, deep valleys and rich native wild life. There are 4 producers in this region that contributed their pickings to this lot. The Producers amongst this region are blessed with the much needed water sources that are necessary for growing and processing excellent coffee.
The word Datanlí is of indigenous origin and fittingly translates to "where water falls"
