Fabio Isidro Artunduaga has been in coffee his whole life. He grew up in Palmar del Criollo, where his family farmed coffee, and now carries that legacy forward at Finca La Esperanza.
He’s been producing specialty coffee for more than 18 years, but what stands out to us is the commitment behind it. This is a farm built through family effort, persistence, and a genuine belief in doing things properly. Fabio works alongside his wife, Cielo, with the farm’s day-to-day shaped by a close, hands-on approach, especially when it comes to processing.
At La Esperanza, Fabio keeps things thoughtful and deliberate. No herbicides, minimal intervention, and a clear focus on farming in a way that looks after the land as much as the coffee.
