Don Héctor started growing coffee at 24. Forty-five years later, he's still at it, alongside his wife and son, on the same land that's supported the family for decades.

Four years ago he made the shift to specialty coffee. Better quality, better prices, a real shot at something more for the farm.

Then he found Pacas. The variety changed how he thought about the work, pushed him to keep adapting even with coffee rust and limited access working against him.

These days Don Héctor runs every part of the farm himself. Not out of habit, out of choice. Decades of experience and a fair bit of stubbornness are what get this coffee from tree to cup.
