Ovidio Velez is a second-generation coffee farmer from Oporapa, Huila. His farm, Las Brisas, holds a special place in his heart, having cultivated coffee with his father since childhood. In 2017, he shifted focus towards high-quality coffee, planting Pink Bourbon and reducing the use of pesticides and fungicides, improving coffee quality and making it healthier for consumption. Ovidio's entire family participates in the coffee production process. They take pride in producing coffee they drink daily, always striving to improve its quality. Ovidio aims to eliminate chemical use completely and expand his coffee offerings.
His passion for coffee, dedication, and commitment to sustainability make him an exceptional coffee farmer in the Huila region.
