More often than not only one person gets all the credit for the tireless work that goes into producing these wonderful coffees yet behind every great coffee producer is a family that works just as hard toward the same goal. Guillermo, his wife Rosa and all 8 children work together dynamically without any hierarchy - any person can do any job. For many years the family have competed in the Nicaraguan Cup of Excellence, placing as finalists most years since 2011. Sadly the 2019 competition was cancelled due the worst civil conflict in decades. In spite of that it's pleasing to hear there are plans to bring it back in 2020.
Nicaragua is fast becoming one of our favourite origins and this coffee is a true representation of why!
