Peñas Blancas is grown on the outskirts of Pitalito, an area of Huila surrounded by ancient oaks, mountain springs and a large nature reserve. Peñas Blancas is named after the pale white peaks of the surrounding mountains, that shine a ghostly pale colour even when there is no snow.
Peñas Blancas is synonymous with conservation, culture, healthy farming practices and community. The farmers of Peñas Blancas demonstrate that by improving the quality of their coffee they also improve the quality of their community and their lives.
