This coffee is from one of the most if not the most famous coffee growing regions on the planet. It's well known that Ethiopia is the birth place of high altitude coffee. Yirgacheffe is one of the most popular regions in Ethiopia, famous for producing coffees that posses very sweet, juicy and floral coffees.
Aricha is the name of the washing station which the many farmers from the village of Edido contribute their coffee to be processed. Coffee trees here are grown in rich red-brown clay soil. Harvest time is between November and January and after harvest the coffee cherries are delivered and have the flesh removed within 12 hours followed by a washed process with fresh spring water.
